A few sunset shots...

These are just a few photos of Cairo I took when walking back home one evening. Once again proof that Cairo looks better when it's dark...


The Cairo Tower. Legend has it the US tried to give some money to Nasser to bribe him or something. However, just to piss off the US he did indeed take the money but instead of spending them himself he used them to build this fine and not so useful tower as a thorn in he side to all Americans who ever visited Cairo. I have no idea how much of it is really true... But it's a good story.

The bridge over to Al-Gezira. (The name of Cairo's northern island, which also in Arabic means just "the island". I supposed the southern one didn't qualify to become an island too. :)
