Sweden - Egypt 0-1

Photos from the Swedish embarrassement against Egypt. Me and some other madmen went to this high level killer soccer match between Sweden and Egypt in the Cairo Stadium on the 7th of February. The game sucked and Sweden lost, but it was an interesting cultural experience to say the least..


The much wanted first class tickets.


Lotta had figured out how to get into the Egyptian section, but the guards stopped us anyway, quoting reasons like that our blonde head would be easy targets for falafel attacks.


Lots of security around the blondies, almost more than blondies themselves.


Norwegians have always been a confused people.


Look at those undefeatable vikings doing their standard warm-up procedure. The Egyptians were less organized and mostly ran around aimlessly it seemed.


The Ivory Coast had played right before the Sweden game and most of them decided to linger around and support Sweden against the terrible country of Egypt. :-)


"YEAHHH!!! Kick'em where it hurts!!"


Lagerbäck seemed quite devastated when we lost... I've never seen a more emotionless man in my life. But he is a first class chewing gum chewer! :-P
