Chaos in BA

Yes, it is true. The globestrutter has hit Buenos Aires like a bomb shell from the clear sky. Porteños (BA locals) are running around in the streets wondering what happened, will the city - and the country - ever be the same again!? Seriously I´ve been here for a day and a half now and I doubt anyone has even noticed. :-) I have a nice little room in the Palermo area and I am starting my Spanish classes for real on Monday. I really like BA, it seems like a groovy place, at least at first look. Today I walked around for three hours and tried to get my cell phone SIM card to work (quite a challenge with my Spanish, they keep insisting they just have to enter some number and then it should start working within a few hours, "no problem, no problem", but now it´s been two days and it´s DEAD!). I also ate some funny things that looked like huge raviolis with some incredibly pink meat inside (but yummy!) and had some one-to-one lessons in the school. I´ll put up some photos as soon as I get a chance within the next days... Take care!
