Ok, at first I thought I would write a number of posts about what I've been up to during the last years, but in the end I was just too lazy, so here's a short summary of it along with a random cavalcade of pictures.
So, in 2003 I went to Boston to work for this small pharma company called Envivo that I already told you about, they grew during the time I was there from a handful of people to about 40 so that development was quite interesting to follow. During my time there I went to a number of places in the US (I've now been to 11 states I think, not bad for a European) and had a few visits from other people too (thanks everyone for coming to take care of me!). I also went on some trips outside of the US where I hadn't been before, Japan, Peru & Bolivia. It was all great fun, but a little too much to write everything here. Then I started to miss the Swedish weather, European 6-weeks vacations and my friends and family back in Europe so I resigned from my job and went back to Sweden. And that's where I've been since, apart from a few trips down in Europe that I'll hopefully get the time to write something about soon enough... That's it! Gosh, you would think it would be more difficult to summarize two years of your life! :-D
Me trying some incredibly sweet and nasty syrup covered dough balls. The Japanese loved these things, of which I can't remember the name (maybe "moshi"?) but they were not very "oishi" (=good) anyway...
Some geishas in Kyoto that I caught taking photos of one another. Wouldn't surprise me if they were looking to participate in "Geisha Idol" or something.
Martin drinking a good old cup o' Starbucks and getting a free ride with the slightly outdated Boston public transport system.
Lori, Joost and in the middle of course the unforgettable Hsin-Pei Shih at the Envivo Christmas party.
This stunning sunset in Cambridge almost made up for the freezing winter.
My Envivo work buddies Matt & Faris with some dude jazzing away at a local bar close to where I lived in Boston. "Domestic Buckets of Beer $9", aaaahh those were the days. :-)
Maya with some supercute kids we met on a boat on Lake Titicaca, just seconds before Maya dropped her hat into the water and the whole boat and crew got engaged in fishing in out of there. :-P
Dinosaur tracks in Sucre. These were really big and cool, check out the toes!!
My adorable roommates at 598 Cambridge St, Erica J and Zied, but better known as "the Boobies". :-)
