Me, Mel and Lotta in Old Cairo

Mar Girgis, the metro stop of Old Cairo, is just two stops from our house so one day me, my roommate and my neighbor all got into it and got there. It was a little embarassing when I had to run and then jump into the women only wagon, but eventually we made it there. :-)

Me and Mel outside one of the churches. (Could it have been St. George?)

My two Egyptian concubines Lotta and Mel posing in Old Cairo.

Mel in a hurry to get to the bathroom.

The so called hanging church.

The most sacred idol in the church, some say it was from this painting that Da Vinci got his inspiration to Mona Lisa.

The friendly cat we met in the coffee shop outside of Mar Girgis.
