Medieval Party in Certaldo

There was a market in the center of Certaldo, and at the top of the photo the castle in which the medieval party took place.

The walk up there was long and hard, but fortunately two happy and "sceme" companions made the stroll much easier.

These two veterans sure knew where the sweet spots for following the events of the party were... :-)

This guy made some pretty impressive glass sculptures.

Such as these glass horses for example..

The municipal building... I think. :-P

These construction workers had definitely found the best place for taking a break and having some food.

Skyline of Certaldo as the real party is about to get going.

Valentina was in such a party mood.. ;-)

These funny figures were walking around being crazy everywhere all the time.

I had to experiment with the nice color accent function on my new camera. And Valentina came back to life again when she put the magic "fata" hat on.

Some angels saw the light from above...

Boy was it crowded...

More veterans in the front row. :-D

Emilia was quite disappointed with the modern art exhibition though.

The cosy band from the US that made awfully embarassing attempts at speaking Italian all the time.. ;-)

My cosy Valentina, once again an innocent victim of the fantastic color accent function. :-)

We finished the evening off by watching this cool African dance group.

Back at Emilia's green little car again.
