Tobbe Crayfish Party

One of the many highlights from this amazing summer was when a lot of us got together at Tobbe's family's summer house close to the small west coast town of Fjällbacka over a weekend for a genuine Crayfish Party...

Jan busy cooking our home-caught mackerel to perfection.

Yummyyyyyy!!!

The whole weekend was a feast in eating, drinking and sunbathing.

And the next day it was hamburger day. Noone can pose like our own grillmeister Johan. ;-)

Yummy yummy yummy AGAIN!!!

The irresistible Alwin, his proud mother and a car.

Tobbe knew a secret spot with excellent bathing possibilities on Hamburgö. And it was accessible with a baby carriage too. :-P

In the evening it was FINALLY time for the crayfish, those nasty but tasty little red bastards which are such a mess to eat. Some hardcore crayfish eaters like Sofia sucked the yellow gunk out of their heads with a look of pleasure on her face, while other cowards, such as myself, made do with the meat.

Eating, singing and drinking.

Some did a little too much of everything. Just the way it should be... :-)

The last day only me and Tobbe were left but fortunately his sister Lilla K and one of her friends came to visit and keep us company. Tobbe took us out on a boat trip in the archipelago around Fjällbacka and gave me some stunning photo opportunites.

The precious red cottages that are a trademark of Swedish culture. :-P

It's not bad to take a small bath from the boat in the middle of the sea.

Tobbe disappearing into the abyss...

Me looking way too serious while contemplating my horrible and difficult life. ;-)

More red cottages in the harbour of Fjällis.

We made it back just when the sun set...

... and guess what we did then! Hehehe.

Cheers!!

Tobbe's parents showed up as well in the evening just in time for some dessert. I wonder how they knew... ;-)
