Oslo Trip

Me and Tobbe decided to go and hassle Jan and Sofia in Oslo over the weekend. And after a lot of hesitation we even convinced lazy-asses Maria and Tobias to come along too. I haven't been in Oslo since I was tiny so it was pretty nice to be back there and also see how my two favorite Norwegians were doing.

A welcome drink is always welcome. Yeah... I kill myself with my jokes too.

Love the table!! But feel empty and sad inside thinking about poor Jan who had to carry it up here on his weak back. Sofia, how could you!!??

Jan had prepared a delicious meal for us and I couldn't wait to dig in!!

Sofia was as usual happy to get some food. ;-)

After the dinner the whiskey and cognac bottles came out... Uhhh dangerous!!

As a note to her co-workers Maria wants me to point out she was only tired and this had nothing to do with the whiskey. She would also like you to kindly disregard her stomach. Hehehe...

Tobbe used Jans super hi-tech flat screen TV and media center to surf on the web and find out the lyrics for the one-hit-wonder "Botten Anna".

With some breakfast in Maria's disregarded stomach she felt a lot more energetic the next morning.

Tobias enjoying the Oslo playa.

Klara, the sister of Rolle, an old classmate of ours, apparently also lived in Oslo nowadays and joined us for dinner the next day. She also was the secret source of the yummy recipe with grilled vegetables and feta cheese. To go with it the Norwegians had of course asked us to smuggle some cheap Swedish meat into the country.

When Klara saw my wallet made from a recycled juice package she had to have one herself and immediately got to work on an old bag-in-box wine container.

Tobias posing for the puclic eye.

Sunday stroll in central Oslo.

The impressive yellow castle where Haakon lives.

In front of the new Nobel Peace Prize building old indifferences between Sweden and Norway were finally settled. Our mission was accomplished and we headed back home...
